Every 2002-7 WRX & STi has a massive baffled chamber in the fenderwell to silence incoming air. The intake silencer delete elbow is designed for the stock airbox; we recommend getting a drop-in air filter with it to maximize results. The intake elbow bolts into the factory location using the included hardware and foam ring airbox seal.
